At The Hope Academy, we believe education is more than rote memorization and the accumulation of completed worksheets. It is an invitation to encounter ideas that shape the way a child sees the world and understands their place in it.
Through living books, meaningful writing, hands-on experiences, differentiated learning, Spanish, science, literature, and Scripture, students are given opportunities to form relationships with ideas rather than simply complete lessons.
The Living Education Program grew from the educational philosophy we have practiced at The Hope Academy from the beginning. Inspired by Charlotte Mason and grounded in our Christian faith, we believe that what a child learns matters just as much as how they learn it.
Like a stream flowing from a deep and life-giving source, we want the education we offer to flow from Truth, Beauty, and Goodness, giving students an intellectual and spiritual foundation that can continue to nourish them long after their school years are over.

TeenPact
Bringing Civics to Life, Building Leaders for Tomorrow
Through the generosity of a donor who believes in investing in young people, all of our part-time and full-time students have the opportunity to attend TeenPact at the state Capitol each spring.
It is an opportunity to see civics in action, practice leadership, ask thoughtful questions, and experience firsthand how government and civic life work. Rather than simply reading about government in a textbook, our students get to step into the Capitol and learn by doing.
We are grateful to be able to give every Hope Academy student this experience each year. Bringing Civics to Life. Building Leaders for Tomorrow.
Full-Time Microschooling
Our full-time microschooling program offers a range of core classes and enrichment studies. The center is open from 8:30-2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
